David Whitehair FELTON - David Whitehair of Felton died Sunday May 2, 2010. David was born August 8, 1969 in Owasha Michigan to Elizabeth Hibbler Whitehair and the late Donald Whitehair. He worked for Murphy Steele, Newark, DE and had his own tree company with his wife and sons. David enjoyed salt water fishing, boating and any type of hunting, gardening, and working on his mini farm. He enjoyed playing on his four wheeler; and doing anything outdoors with his family. Besides his father he was preceded in death by his son, David Whitehair, Jr.; and step father John "Bill" Humphries. David is survived by his mother Elizabeth Humphries; his wife of 3 years, Lauren Callahan Whitehair of Felton; son, Jacob Whitehair of Thompsonville, Del.; daughters, Ashley Callahan of Dover, Jasmine and Chelsea Callahan both of Felton; stepdaughter, Jessica Middleton of Thompsonville, Del.; sisters, Donna Kay Parsons of Magnolia and Sandra Mae Golt of Viola; one niece and many nephews. Services will be held 7 p.m., Thursday May 27, 2010 at The Cross Church of the Nazarene, 1818 N. Little Creek Road, Dover, DE 19901. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19904 to help defray the cost of the funeral. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com
