FELTON - David Steven Hansen, 43, of Felton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Born on June 2, 1965, in Oxford, Pa., he was the son of the late Dorothy (Bryan) and Leon C. Hansen. He and his brother, Jeff, owned and operated L & D Suzuki in Dover for 17 years. Later David's passion for martial arts led him to opening Sundragon Martial Arts in Camden where he was a dedicated and devoted instructor. During the past six years, he owned and operated Sundragon Bail Bonds with offices in the Dover, Georgetown and Denton areas. David loved to travel, ride motorcycles and scuba dive. He enjoyed flying and in December of 2008 received his pilot's license. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Carol (Mabrey) Hansen; two sons, David and Brandon Hansen; three brothers, Jeff, James and Bruce Hansen; and one sister, Kathy Voshell. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Caroline Center, Inc., 12061 School Street, Ridgely, MD 21660. Arrangements by Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, Middletown. On-line condolences may be sent to www.daniels-hutchison.com.
