ATLANTA, Ga. - David M. Webb passed away after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease and a heart condition on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. He was born June 16, 1935, in Philadelphia, Pa. to the late John Webb and Elizabeth (McGinnis) Webb. David received a BS from Penn State and his MA from American University in Washington, D.C. He was employed by the United States Department of Agriculture in the U.S. Forestry service for more than 30 years of service as a writer/editor until he retired in 1995. He was a dedicated church member for over 30 years to the Peach Tree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. David is survived by his sister-in-law, Eleanor 'Lee' Webb; nieces, Mary Elizabeth (Betsy) Webb and Rivkah Moriah; and his good friend Michael Catlett. A committal service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
