LINCOLN - David Lee Young passed away on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014 at Delaware Hospice Center of Milford surrounded by his family. He was born on Oct. 31, 1941 in Henderson Md. to the late Walter H. and Pauline Grace Hutson Young. Mr. Young was a Vietnam Army Veteran. He was a waste water treatment manager for Purdue Chicken of Milford, retiring after 23 years of service. He was a member of the Caroline Memorial VFW Post #7937. He is survived by his wife, of 40 years Joanne Lloyd Young; his siblings, Ann Woodie of Baltimore, Marvin Young of Felton, Ella Mae Korrel of Greensboro and Allan Young of Felton. A funeral service for Mr. Young will be on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fleegle & Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, Md. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greensboro Cemetery following the service.
