David Henry Tracy, 62

DOVER - David Henry Tracy of Dover, died Thursday, March 15, 2007, in his home. He was 62.

He was born on Sept. 8, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Henry and Marion Tracy.

Mr. Tracy had served his country proudly for the U.S. Army.

He had dedicated his early working career as a fourth-grade teacher with the Dover School District for 20 plus years.

Mr. Tracy was an avid pool player and enjoyed playing pool at the Modern Maturity Center, Dover. He also enjoyed collecting firearms. His greatest joy was the time spent with visits and conversation with his son Ryan.

He is survived by his son, Ryan Tracy and his wife, Allison of Owings Mills, Md.; and a sister, Terry Frey of Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas.

The family will celebrate his life with a gathering of remembrance from 2-4 p.m. Saturday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.

Burial will be private.

Instead of flowers, the family requests he be remembered with memorial gifts to the Modern Maturity Center, 1121 S. Forrest St., Dover, DE 19904.
