SHARPTOWN, Md. - David H. Hurlock, age 76, of Sharptown, Md. and formerly of Seaford, Del. passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. David was born in Hurlock, Md. a son of the late Harvey and Bessie Corbin Hurlock. Mr. Hurlock was a Maryland State Trooper for five years. He also retired from Crown, Cork and Seal as a quality inspector. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Seaford, Del., Salisbury Moose and was an avid Shorebird baseball fan. David is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jean P. Hurlock of Sharptown. A son, Michael Dennis of Laurel, Del. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Harvey, Jr., Helen Rodney, Lorraine Horseman and Doris Brown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 532 Stein Hwy. in Seaford, Del. A viewing will be 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home Laurel, Del. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Blades, Del. Contributions can be made in Mr. Hurlock's memory to the Seaford Center 1100 Norman Eskridge Hwy. Seaford, DE 19973. Online condolences can be made by visiting, www.hsdfuneralhome.com.
