He was the oldest son of Hollis C., and the late Mary "Fran" Anglin, he was born at Dover AFB, DE, on March 13, 1962. Scott attended schools in Delaware, New Jersey and Oklahoma. Scott was a gifted aircraft mechanic obtaining his aircraft and power plant license at the minimum age of 18 and his inspection authorization certificate as soon as he reached the age minimum requirement of 21 years. He served as the Director of Maintenance for Dawn Aeronautics, Inc. from 1978 to 1999. In 2000 he and his wife JJ founded Anglin Aircraft Recovery Services, LLC in Clayton, DE. He also enjoyed goose hunting with his good friends, David and Robert Baldwin, shooting sporting clays, traveling abroad, especially to Brazil and watching FOX News from his beloved recliner. A visitation will held from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 12 pm.
