MIDDLETOWN - Darlene K. Bostic of Middletown passed away Sunday, June 3, 20007, in her home with her loving family and friends by her side. She was 63.

Mrs. Bostic was born June 15, 1943, in Wilmington.

She was a graduate of Middletown High School and received an associate"s degree from Delaware Tech.

She worked as an accountant and bookkeeper for more than 20 years at various local businesses. She was a successful real estate agent for the past 21 years. She was one of the original owners of ReMax First Choice in Middletown.

Those who knew Darlene were treated honestly and ethically.

Her relationship with God, her loving family and many dear friends she cherished were most important to her. She also shared a special love for her many animals.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tara Bostic.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Danny Bostic; three children, Lisa Webb of Newark, Michelle Bostic of Wilmington and Michael Bostic of New Castle; five grandchildren, Ryan, Autumn, Lauren, Andrea and Joshua; her parents, Darwin King of Stanton and Florence Pearce of Townsend; four brothers, Dubbie King, Dale King and Donnie King and Earl Pearce; as well as many dear friends and colleagues.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad St., Middletown.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. on Thursday, in Connection Community Church, 100 W. Green St., Middletown.

Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Darlene"s memory to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Delaware Chapter, 100 W. 10th St., Suite 209, Wilmington, DE 19801.
