Daniel J. 'Dan' Wrzesniewski, 68 UPLAND, Pa. - Daniel J. "Dan" Wrzesniewski died Sunday, June 29, 2008, in Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland. He was 68. Daniel was born in Chester, raised in Eddystone and educated in Wallingford. He was a 1959 graduate of Nether Providence High School. He resided in Wallingford for 21 years, a resident of Slaughter Beach, Del., for 50 years and has since lived in Aston for the last 3 years. Daniel was a supervisor for heating and air conditioning companies before his retirement. He is a parishioner at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Aston. Daniel was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving on the submarines from 1962-1966. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending time on the beach and being with friends and family. He was the son of the late Charles A. and Frances A. (Gruszka) Wrzesniewski. He was the brother of the late Richard Wrzesniewski. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sally Ebling Wrzesniewski; two sons, David P. Wrzesniewski and his wife Polly of Thornton, and Steven J. Wrzesniewski and his wife Renee of Pittsburgh; one brother, Charles F. Wrzesniewski of Slaughter Beach; three grandchildren, Grace, William and Mason, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass was held in St. Joseph Church, 3255 Concord Road, Aston. Burial will be in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield. Visitation was held in Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston. Instead of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 625 W. Ridge Pike, Suite 100, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
