Daniel J. Bruns

KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Daniel Joseph Bruns passed away on April 24, 2012, at The Tuscany House Hospice Center, Summerfield, Fla. Mr. Bruns (Danny) was born in Anchorage, Alaska on February 18, 1950, the son of the late Joseph and Nellie Bruns Dolbow. He was a carpenter and worked in construction for many years and he also loved to travel. Recently he was associated with Life in The Son Christian Ministries in Kissimmee, Fla. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Daniel T. Bruns and his stepfather Albert W. Dolbow, Sr. He is survived by a daughter, Mary E. Bruns Walls; a son-in-law, Charles Walls of Houston; a daughter-in-law, Judith Bruns of Milford, Del.; four grandchildren Adam and Casidhe Bruns of Milford, Meghan and Hannah Walls of Houston, Del.; sisters, Mary Trice of Harrington, Del., Betty Jane Mungia and her husband Servando of Hidalgo, Texas, Patricia Ann Reh and her husband John of Dover, Del.; a brothers, Thomas Bruns of Albuquerque, N.M., Timothy Bruns of Anchorage Alaska, Dale Bruns of Anchorage, Alaska, Albert Walker Dolbow, Jr. and his wife, Phyllis of Dover, Del; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Memorial services will be held June 3, 2012, at Pilgrim Chapel, 4792 Milford-Harrington Hwy. Harrington, DE. A social gathering in the Fellowship Hall will follow. Interment will be at St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood, DE at a later date.
