Georgetown - Daniel H. Hall passed away, at home on Fri., Apr. 10, 2015. He is the son of the late Herschel and Madge Hopkins Hall. He retired as Lieutenant Colonel from the Delaware National Guard. Mr. Hall was the Director of Corporate and Community Programs for Delaware Technical and Community College, retiring in 2003. He was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, in Georgetown and the Franklin Masonic Lodge # 12, where he served as Chaplin. Also, a member of the Scottish Rite Consistory, Eastern Shriners and Redman Lodge. He was a member of Armstrong Lodge # 26 in Newport. His hobbies included reading and golf. He is survived by his wife, Sonya E. Hall; and two children, Beth and husband, Tim Conaway, of Georgetown, Daniel Hall, Jr and wife, Jennifer of Clayton; and one step-son, Michael Hitchens and wife, Teresa of Laurel; and seven grandchildren, Christopher and Clay Conaway, Allie Burkette, Jordan Pase, Austin Hall, Dustin and Melanie Hitchens. Funeral Services will be Wed., Apr. 15, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 East Market Street, Georgetown, where friends may call Tues. evening from 6:00 to 8:00. Interment will be Thurs., at 11:00 a.m. at Barretts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to St. Johns United Methodist Church , Building Fund, C/O Teresa Adams 22910 Park Avenue, Georgetown, DE. or Delaware Hospice 100 Patriots Way, Milford, Delaware 19963.
