Dale Todd Ostermann

GREENWOOD - Dale Todd Ostermann passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016 at his home. He was born Nov. 17, 1959 in Easton, Md., the son of the late Henry J. Ostermann and Betty Mae Trice Ostermann. He graduated from Woodbridge High School and worked for the former Royster Fertilizer Company in Bridgeville, for about 15 years. Later he worked at New Process Fiber in Greenwood for 28 years. He enjoyed watching movies, eating out with his family and hunting. He is survived by three children, Anthony "Todd" Ostermann, of Greenwood, Crystal Eck, of Newark, and Dale Ostermann, II, of Harrington; four grandchildren, Dale Ostermann, III, Hailey Eck, Aiden Ostermann, Brella Ostermann; a God-child, Lisa Lednum, of Federalsburg, Md.; five siblings, John Ostermann, of Federalsburg, Md., Wayne Ostermann, of Federalsburg, Md., Raymond Ostermann, of Greenwood, Sharon Parks, of Federalsburg, Md., and Francis Ostermann, of Denton, Md.; two great-nieces, Cynthia Lednum and Tabitha Lednum; and his beloved dog, Pumpkin. Funeral Services will be on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at 12 noon at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Jeff Donahue officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Interment will follow in Bloomery Cemetery near Smithville. To share memories with the family, please visit www.framptom.com.
