Dale Marie Lewis

SMYRNA - Dale Marie Lewis passed away suddenly on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018, at Kent General Hospital in Dover.
Mrs. Lewis was born July 11, 1949, in Ticonderoga, N.Y., the daughter of the late Kenneth D. Lewis and Elizabeth M. (Sheppard) Lewis.
Dale was a longtime employee at Betsy Ross Pizza (now Bridgeway Family Restaurant) in Smyrna, where she worked in various roles and enjoyed the interactions with customers and the friendships she made.
Dale was a kind soul, enjoyed life and most so when spending time with family and friends.
Dale is survived by her son, Damien Lewis and his wife, Laura (Brossmann) Lewis of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Derek Lewis and Emma Lewis; her sister, Loretta Brayman of Kissimmee, Fla.; and her brothers, Paul Lewis of Smyrna and John Lewis of Corinth, N.Y.
A viewing will be held on Monday, Feb. 26, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 South Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m.
Burial will follow in Old Drawyers Cemetery located in Odessa.
Remembrances may be made in the form desired by friends.
