Daisey Mae Mathis, 95

DELMAR - Daisey Mae Mathis, age 95, of the Delmar Nursing Home, in Delmar, formerly of Coverdale Crossroads, in Bridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center, in Salisbury, Md., of natural causes. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Aris Roberts, and she is survived by her daughter: Helen F. Wright of Baltimore, and by Selena Hancock, of Georgetown, whom she adopted as a daughter, and numerous other relatives and friends. A devout Witness for Jehovah, there will be a memorial service at 1 p.m., Tuesday at the Kingdom Hall, Seaford/Laurel Hwy., Laurel. Interment private and at the convenience of the family.
