SMYRNA - Cynthia J. "Cindy" Fries, of Smyrna, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at home. She was 53. She was born Oct. 2, 1957, in Wilmington, the daughter of Lillian Francis Bradford Mann of Smyrna. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Tickle and Cecil Mann. In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Angela Fries of Lock Haven, Pa., and Jenna Fries of Smyrna; three sisters, Brenda Krischer of Fayetteville, N.C., Sandra Kemp of Pike Creek, and Tina Williams of Smyrna; her ex-husband, Mark Fries; and several nieces and nephews.
