Cynthia Ann Oliver

FRANKFORD - Cynthia Ann Oliver died Saturday, Jul. 22, 2017, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. Born in Seaford, she was the daughter of Charlene Blockson Cannon and the late Gilbert Moore.
Mrs. Oliver was a member of Antioch A.M.E. Church where she served as Sunday school superintendent and sang in the adult choir. She was a former member of John Wesley United Methodist Church in Seaford, where she sang in the youth choir among many other activities.
She was employed as a seamstress at the Lewes Sewing Factory, Kim Manufacturing Company, and Silco.
In addition to her mother, she will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Albert T. Oliver; a son, Tyrone A. Oliver; a daughter, Patsy A. Baine; two sisters, Patricia B. Blockson-Richardson (Rev. Dr. Willie) and Darlene Cannon; five brothers, Edward Blockson, Percy Cannon, Harrison Cannon, Kenny Cannon, and Alton Cannon; an aunt, Sandra Walker Johnson; five grandchildren, Covington Foreman, Talyse S. Oliver, Sierra Williams, Eugene Baine, and Kim Baine; three great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Garland Walker.
Mrs. Oliver will lie in repose on Saturday, Jul. 29, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Antioch A.M.E. Church, 194 Clayton Avenue, Frankford. The funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
