DOVER - Curtis R. Weeks, 30, of Dover, passed away on Monday May 4, 2009. Curtis was born Feb. 22, 1979, in Trenton, N.J., to Curtis R. Gray and Karen Lynn Weeks Najeeullah. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 6 years. After the service he worked as Executive Assistant for the Delaware State Housing Authority. He enjoyed music, reading and spending time with his family. Curtis was a wonderful dad and worshiped his son very much. He was very family oriented and was caring and giving to others. He attended Calvary Assembly of God Church in Dover. Curtis was preceded in death by his step-father, Terry Thompson in 2003. He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Thowana Aline Weeks of Dover; his son, Christopher Weeks of Dover; his mother, Karen "Bunny" Najeeullah of Lawrenceville, N.J.; his sister, Tiffany McNeil and her husband William of Ft. Lewis, Wash.; mother-in-law, Christel Robinson of Killeen, Texas; father-in-law, Stanley Robinson of Copperas Cove, Texas; brother-in-law, Nhakia Robinson and his wife Ruth of Killeen, Texas; special cousins, John Major who was also a life long friend and like a brother, Diana Page and Tony Page of Trenton, N.J.; Drew, Hesham, Ravi, Chris, and Scott who were like brothers; special aunt and uncle, Maxine and Henry Page of Trenton; uncle, The Honorable Judge Gregory Weeks; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Calvary Assembly of God Church, 1141 E. Lebanon Road (Rt. 10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Local arrangements by Torbert Funeral Chapels, Dover. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
