Clinton James Conard, 39

DOVER - Clinton James Conard, died of heart failure on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, in his home. He was 39. He was born Feb. 25, 1969 in Dover, to Joan Long Conard and the late Dale Ruston Conard. Clinton graduated from Dover High School in 1987. He worked as an electrician for the late Earl Nance, Paradee Electric, and B&D Electric. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed NASCAR, the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Phillies. His favorite NASCAR drivers were, Richard and Kyle Petty. He was elated this year when the Phillies won the World Series. Clinton also enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with his friends and cousins through the years. Clinton was preceded in death by his father, Dale Ruston Conard, Oct. 9, 2008. He is survived by his mother, Joan Conard; his brother, David Conard, both of Dover; a nephew, Spc. Adam Conard, deployed to Iraq; a great nephew, Dominic Layman; a special aunt, Shirley Davis, of Hartly; his aunts and uncles, Charlene and Olin Evans, of Cheswold, and Helen and Donald Conard, of Denton, Md.; his best friend Scott Allen and several cousins including his closest Doug Evans and Krista Davis. Funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10) Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery .
