Clifton Leroy Leager

DOVER -Clifton Leroy Leager passed away on Thurs., Mar. 19, 2015 at Bayhealth Kent General Hospital. Mr. Leager was born in Sudlersville, Md., son of the late Nathaniel and Ethel (Holden) Leager. He proudly served his Country in the US Army from 1961-1963. Mr. Leager worked for Kraft Foods for over 35 years as a machine operator and also owned Hustler Lawn Service for overs 40 years, retiring in 2013. He was a member of the Camden- Wyoming Moose Lodge #203 and the Millington VFW Post 652. He loved dancing, going to auctions and tinkering on antique tractors. He is survived by his children, Clifton Matthew Leager of Dover, Jill Ennis of Smyrna, Cheryl Ann McCrea (Bruce) of Md., Mark Leager and Luke Leager both of Fla.; sisters, Ethel May Shorts, Elizabeth Hay, Betty Ervin, Doris Schelts, Julia Marshall and Helen Whaley; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tues., Mar. 24, 2015 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE where friends may call after 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. Online condolences may be sent to www.pippinfuneralhome.com
