Clark S. Rodney, 65

MILLSBORO - Clark S. Rodney, of Millsboro, formerly of Denver, Colo., passed away Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 65.

Mr. Rodney was born Sept. 9, 1942, son of Charles and Margaret (Sheldon) Rodney.

He was a training center supervisor for the Chrysler Corp. for 38 years, retiring in May 2007.

Mr. Rodney was a member of the Chrysler CAP program, a master technician of the Association of Service Excellence and a member of the American Society of Engineers.

He was also a member of Wheat Ridge (Colo.) Evangelical Lutheran Church and Grace of God Lutheran Church, Millsboro.

Mr. Rodney loved anything to do with the water, including boating, fishing, crabbing and clamming. He also enjoyed "tinkering" with electronics

In addition to his mother, Margaret Rodney of Millsboro, he is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Norma (Smith) Rodney; a son, David Rodney of Philadelphia; a daughter, Elisabeth Rodney of Florida; and his "adopted family," David and Kelly Berg and their children, Riley and Kyle, all of Mason, Ohio.

A funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends may call after 2 p.m.

Interment will be held at a later date in St. John's Cemetery, Maytown, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Mr. Rodney's name to the American Heart Association, 777 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.
