DOVER - Clara M. Snow, 91, died Sept 27, 2011, at Kent General Hospital, Dover (she is formerly of Ft. Fairfield, Maine) after an extended illness. She was born Sept. 26, 1920, in Limestone, Maine, the daughter of Thomas and Agnes (Lavoie) Michaud of Sheridan, Maine. Clara was a communicant of the St. Denis Catholic Church, Fort Fairfield, Maine. She will always be remembered as a loving and caring mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her parents, Clara was predeceased by two sons, Delbert Soucier and O'Neil Saucier; eight sisters, Eva King, Rose Archer, Delina Marquis, Bertha York, Ella Boulier, Blanche Campbell, Dorothy Knox, and Cecile Ouellette. She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Johnson of Florence, S.C., and JoAnn Cobb and her husband Philip of Dover; 16 grandchildren and a multitude of great-grandchildren; one brother, Joseph "O'Neil" Michaud and his wife Peggy of Stuart, Fla.; two sisters, Theresa Carney and her husband Richard of Sheridan, Maine, and Edith O'Clair of Presque Isle Nursing Home, Presque Isle, Maine. A memorial service will be held at a later time in Fort Fairfield, Maine. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Clara Snow may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
