Dillon, 65 DOVER - Christine "Sandy" Dillon passed away Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013 at home. Mrs. Dillon was born March 11, 1948 in Wilmington to the late Louis W. Allcorn and Christine H. Clements Allcorn. Graduating from University of Delaware earning a degree in Early Childhood Development. She worked as a product manager at the Mohawk Electronic Systems plant, retiring in 2011. Mrs. Dillon enjoyed doing stained glass, boating, cooking and spending time with her best friend, her daughter. Her husband and daughter were the most important part of her life. She was an excellent mother and "dance mom". Mrs. Dillon is survived by her husband of 29 years, Robert Dillon of Dover; daughter, Chrissie Dillon of Smyrna; sister, Janet Harper-Wooley and her husband Dan of Smyrna; one niece and two nephews. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way #205, New Castle, DE 19720. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
