Charles Wesley Appenzeller

BRIDGEVILLE - Charles Wesley Appenzeller, 64, of Bridgeville, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford. He was born on Nov. 9, 1946, in Trenton, N.J., to the late Charles and Margaret Decter Appenzeller, Sr. Charles was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a truck driver for many years. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Annabelle Appenzeller; stepsons, H. Dale Reed, Jr., Gary Reed, Sr., Michael Reed, Robert Reed, and Larry Reed; stepdaughter, Phyllis Ann Hendrix; brothers, Austin Appenzeller, and Edward Appenzeller; sister, Jane Monett; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Remembrance Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2011, at Trader Funeral Home in Dover. Burial will be at the Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. Friends may also call Friday 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover. The family request that memorial contributions be given to Bridgeville Vol. Fire Co. Ambulance Fund, 311 Market Street, Bridgeville, DE 19933. Letters of condolences may be sent to www.delmarvaobits.com or traderfh@aol.com.
