Charles E. 'Chuck' Osborn, 46
Charles E. "Chuck" Osborn of Bridgeville died Friday, May 11, 2007, of natural causes at his parents residence. He was 46.
Mr. Osborn was the son of the late Willie Osborn and Betty Osborn-Moore.
He graduated from Woodbridge High School in Bridgeville. After graduation, he relocated to Edgewood, Md., where he became employed as a forklift operator for the Northeastern Supply Co.
Mr. Osborn maintained employment with Northeastern until his health failed. Upon relocation to Delaware, he resided with his mother and stepfather.
He will always be remembered as a sports-oriented person. He played football, ran track, and acquired several state records for shot put. He wrestled, and sports were his passion. He was also family-oriented. He loved being with his family and wanted to be in their presence whenever possible.
Mr. Osborn attended The Church of Jesus Christ for Latter-Day Saints in Seaford.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon K. Osborn; his mother and stepfather with whom he resided, Betty and Kermit Moore of Bridgeville; two daughters, Ebony Wright of Bridgeville and Amanda Wright of Georgia; two brothers, Morris Osborn and Walter Osborn of Bridgeville; three sisters, Corey "Teenie" Osborn of New Castle, Connie Osborn of Bridgeville, and Patricia "Patty" (Louvere) Alexander of Edgewood; three grandchildren; three aunts, Hattie (Don) Perkins of Bridgeville, Rose Irving of Dover and Dora Savage of Bridgeville; and his special and devoted friends of many years, Wayne Banks and John "Meat-man" Martin; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of Jesus Christ for Latter-Day Saints, Fleetwood Drive, Seaford, where friends may call two hours earlier. The Bishop Ballard will deliver the eulogy.
Burial will be in Middleford Cemetery, Seaford.
