Charles was born in Salem, N.J., the son of the late Charles Franklin and Ruth Clarke Skinner. Charles was a carpenter and worked for 50 years out of the New York and Delaware Carpenter's Union #626. Charles was an associate member of the Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company, the Kent County Ruritan Club, and the Ruffin Trail Riding Association. He was a dedicated EMT to the department's EMS division and was honored by being inducted into the Kent & Queen Anne's County Fire and Rescue Associations Hall Of Fame. Mr. Skinner was also an active member of the Crumpton Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. The family wishes to thank the Crumpton Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Kent County Ruritans, and friends for all of their support over the past two years.
