Charlene Suzanne Shockley

Milford - On Feb. 21, 2018, Charlene Suzanne Shockley, passed away peacefully at her home.
Mrs. Shockley was born on Dec. 13, 1946 in Washington, D.C. to Charles and Jacqueline Fowler.
Charlene was very active at Shawnee Country Club playing golf, the Girl Scouts as a troop leader and with the Boy Scouts post 186 as a Den Mother. She was also a very active member of the Esther Circle at Avenue United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Shockley is survived by her husband of 45 years, George W. Shockley, Jr. She is also survived by her daughter, Kimberly Dodson-Newhouse; son, George W. Shockley, III; her granddaughter, Ella M. Shockley; her aunt, Vinette Fowler; and her niece, Michelle Turner.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, between 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018 with a funeral service at 12 p.m. Interment Epworth U.M.C. Cemetery.
