KNIGHTDALE, N.C. - Chad Alan Womach, of Knightdale, previously of Georgetown, Del., died unexpectedly in his home on Dec. 29, 2008. His loving companion, Michelle Thrasher and her children, Dillan and Tiffany were with him at the time of his death. He was 32. Chad was born Oct. 18, 1976, in Seaford, Del., and was a 1994 graduate of Sussex Tech High School. After graduation he worked as a glazier, and enjoyed music and participating as an amateur disc jockey in local competitions. He is survived by his parents, Vivian D. Wheatley of Seaford, Del., and Thomas E. Womach II of Key Largo, Fla.; a brother, Christopher Womach of Seaford; his grandmother, Janet Womach of Laurel, Del.; and aunt, Karen Womach also of Laurel, Del.; three uncles and wives; Robert and Denise Dechene of Laurel, Del., Bertrand and Theresa Dechene of Millersville, Md., and Phillip and Latrelle Dechene of Knightdale, N.C. He is also survived by many cousins and extended family. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, T. Eugene Womach; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Annette Dechene all formerly of Laurel, Del.; uncles, Norman Dechene and Raymond Dechene; as well as stepmother, Tamie Womach; and a stepfather Joseph R. Wheatley Jr. A funeral service will be held at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home 700 West St. Laurel, DE 19956 on Sunday at 2 p.m. Where a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. The Pastor Marvin Jones will officiate. Burial will be held privately with his family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Bank of America, 9609 Hartford Rd. Parkville, MD. 21234 in c/o the Dillan and Tiffany Thrasher Fund.
