CHERRY HILL, N.J. - Catherine Irene Peek (nee Cole), 89, of Cherry Hill, N.J., formerly of Milford, Del., passed away peacefully on Friday, April 15, 2016. She was born in Montclair, N.J. to the late Anna Hermann & Ira Earl Cole. She was a 1947 graduate of Connecticut College for Women. Catherine worked as an engineering assistant for General Electric in Schenectady, N.Y. and as a secretary for Middle Township Schools Child Study Team in Cape May Courthouse, N.J. Cappie, as she was known, was an avid painter, musician and homemaker. She is the wife of the late William R. Peek and is the beloved mother of Sandra Black of Orange, Calif., Carol Gunsalus of Victor, N.Y., Mary Manion and her husband Paul of Medford, N.J., Donald Peek and his wife Marie of Hawera, New Zealand and Louis Peek and his wife Donna of Painted Post, N.Y. She is also survived by her sister, Rosemarie Martineau and her husband Jack of Hamilton, N.Y.; and sister-in-law, Beverly Cole of Bemus Point, N.Y. Catherine is the loving grandmother of Roxanne and her husband Mina, Ronald and his wife Alisha, Andrea, Glenn, Kevin, Marisa and her fiancé Brian. She is the loving great-grandmother of Katherine. Also, she is the loving sister of the late Frank Cole. Funeral service was held on April 23, 2014 at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, N.J.
