WORTON, Md. - Catherine E. Coleman, 83 of Worton, Md., passed away in her daughter's arms on August 22, 2013 in Corsica Hills Nursing Home, Centreville, Md. Mrs. Coleman was born on August 12, 1930, daughter of the late John P. and Julia Nickerson Foreman. She was raised on a farm near Fairlee and moved to Worton in 1955. She worked as a pharmacy clerk for Drug Fair for 20 years and Stams Drug Store for 25 years. Mrs. Coleman enjoyed her family and grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, William Coleman, Jr.; and a brother, Robert Foreman. Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband of 63 years, William N. Coleman, Sr.; her daughter, Penny Pickering (Ed) of Rock Hall; her son, Mark Coleman (Suzanne) of Willards, Md; a brother, John Foreman of Chestertown; two sisters, Grace Gorsuch and Doris Raleigh both of Fairlee; a special friend, Dawn Carson Greaves; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be 1 p.m., Sunday, August 25, 2013 in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, Md, where friends may call one hour prior.
