Carol S. Payne, 67

MILLSBORO - Carol S. Payne passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2008, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 67. Carol retired from the Animal Control Center in West Milford Township, N.J. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 24. She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Lois Penny Stevenson. Her husband Charles D. Payne Jr. of Millsboro survives her. One Brother, Charles D. Storer of New York, N.Y. also survives her. She was a wonderful woman loved and respected by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed. A committal service was held Monday in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Patriots Way, Millsboro. Arrangements provided by Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington St., Millsboro.
