Carol Janet Todd, 80
BRIDGEVILLE - Carol Janet Todd passed away at her home on Friday, Dec. 14, 2018, surrounded by her family.
She was born on May 22, 1938 in Milford, to the late Frank and Norma Lee Friedel. Carol spent most of her life as a homemaker, baking, sewing, gardening, and raising four children. She enjoyed woodworking, and collecting cups and saucers. Carol was also very musically talented, and her family has many fond memories of listening to her play her accordion and keyboard. She was a loving and devoted wife of 55 years, mother and grandmother, and will be forever missed.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John, and 3 grandchildren.
Carol was survived by 4 children and their spouses, Curtis and Deborah Todd of Greenwood, Michael and Lisa Todd of Frankford, Linda and Nelson Milam of Bridgeville, and Beverly and Duane Jones of Seaford; 5 grandchildren, Travis, Laura, Jason, John, and Stephanie; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St., Greenwood, DE 19950. A viewing will be held one hour prior to funeral services.
Burial will be held at Bloomery Cemetery in Federalsburg, MD.
