Carl Ernest Campbell, 82
REHOBOTH BEACH - Carl Ernest Campbell of Rehoboth Beach passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 82.
Mr. Campbell was born Oct. 10, 1924, in Milton, son of the late Edward D. and Evelyn T. (Ingram) Campbell.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. Campbell was a life member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 7447 of Rehoboth Beach, a member of the American Legion Post 17, Lewes and Harbor Lights CHEER Center, Lewes.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Eakle Campbell; a daughter and a son-in-law, Carla and Chris Miller of Lewes; two grandchildren, Grace Miller and Luke Miller; a stepson, Charles Eakle of Lewes; a nephew, Samuel Campbell and his wife, Anita and family of Hurlock, Md.; two nieces, Joanne McCracken and her husband, Charles and family of Prince George, Va., and Kay Black and her husband, Warren and family of El Paso, Texas.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will follow in White"s Chapel Cemetery, Milton.
Celebration of Life will be at VFW Post 7447 on State Road, Rehoboth Beach.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the VFW Post 7447 Ladies Auxiliary, State Road, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971.
