Bruce A. Steele

MILTON - Bruce A. Steele, of Milton, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010, at Fox Chase in Pennsylvania. He was 65. Bruce was born in Millsboro, the son of Rosalie Moore Steele of Millsboro and the late Ray L. Steele. He was a truck driver for Allen's. He enjoyed stock car racing and fishing. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Shirley Steele of Laurel; two children, J. R. Steele of Georgetown and Bud Steele and his wife Tracy of Laurel; companion, Debbie Broyles; two sisters, Stephanie Crosson of Millsboro and Patricia Hitchens of Bridgeville; and two grandchildren, Lindsay Watson and Ashlyn Steele. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. Contributions may be American Cancer Society, 1138 Parsons Rd., Salisbury, MD 21801.
