Brad W. Dukes, 71
MAGNOLIA - Brad W. Dukes passed away on 8/13/2021 after a long battle with lung cancer. Mr. Dukes was born in Harrisburg, Pa. to Clyde and Dorothy Dukes.
Brad was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. All who loved him will miss his sense of humor and unique attitude toward life.
Brad was retired from the State of Delaware where he worked for many years as a computer programmer. He was a Navy Veteran and served during the Vietnam War.
Brad was an avid hunter and also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Brad is survived by his wife of 16 years, Diane Dukes; two children, Kelly Davies (Matt) and Kyle Dukes of New Jersey; and a step-son, Evan Jackewicz of Delaware. He was predeceased by a sister, Brenda Nichols (Tom) and is survived by a brother, Jeffrey Dukes (Cathy) of Harrisburg, Pa. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Gage and Gannon Davies of New Jersey; and many loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial spreading of ashes will be private and is planned for a later date.
Donations may be made in Mr. Dukes' name to the American Cancer Society.
