LINCOLN - Beverly Ann Tikiob of Lincoln died Sunday, July 22, 2007, in The Milford Center, Genesis Healthcare. She was 46.
Ms. Tikiob was born in Lewes, daughter of the late William Edward and Louise Ann (Veasey) Shufelt.
She graduated from Cape Henlopen High School, Lewes, in 1979, and continued her education at Delaware Technical & Community College.
Ms. Tikiob then entered the U.S. Army and served for more than 19 years, retiring in 2005 as a recruiter. She served during Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom.
She was a member of Eagles Nest Church, Milton.
Ms. Tikiob loved to play bingo, go hiking on the Shenandoah Mountain trails and take care of her pride and joy, her dogs Tater, a Golden Retriever, and Kahlua, a Boxer.
She is survived by two sons, Chris M. Kneipp and his fiancee Anne K. Hopkins of Lincoln, and Brian E. Kneipp of Lewes; a sister, Cindy L. Shufelt of Lewes; two brothers, William L. Shufelt of Ellendale, and Robert E. Shufelt and his wife Stephanie of Lincoln; four nieces, Jennifer Shufelt, Amanda Shufelt, Haley Shufelt and Tylar Shufelt; and her two loving companions, her dogs Tater and Kahlua.
At the family"s request, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to either Delaware Hospice, Southern Division, 600 DuPont Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947; or to the American Cancer Society, 9 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720.
