Beverly Ann Clough

Beverly Ann Clough, 65

CENTREVILLE, Md. - Beverly Ann Clough, of Centreville, formerly of Marydel, died at the Hospice House, Centreville, on Sunday, May 4, 2008. She was 65.

Born in Stevensville on April 29, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Russell Grimes Sr. and Mollie (Grollman) Grimes.

She attended Stevensville High School and in 1961 she married Walter "Butch" Scott Clough Jr. They were married 23 years.

Mrs. Clough worked as a waitress at Hillside in Centreville while raising her family.

She resided with her companion, Pat O'Ferrell, in Marydel for 20 years. Mr. O'Ferrell died Feb. 20, 2003.

Mrs. Clough enjoyed bluegrass music, quilting, arts and crafts and she especially enjoyed her friends at Tilghman Terrace.

Mrs. Clough is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Clough of Barclay, Lori Clough of Wye Mills and Penny Shanks of Denton; a sister, Janice Wilson of Millington; and a grandchild, Erin Shanks.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, Centreville.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Queen Anne's, 255 Comet Drive, Centreville, MD 21617.
