Bettye Jean Tanner, 90
Bettye entered into this life on November 28, 1931, and departed, May 26, 2022.
I will now join in heaven my beloved husband Stan, my son Bill, and stepson Mike.
There was a special place in my heart for animals, so I served on the Board of Directors for the SPCA. I worked on JR Board at KGH. I enjoyed several years of working at the Church food pantry. I retired after 19 years of service for State Farm agent Harold Bennett.
I sadly leave behind my trusting and genuine friend, Bonnie DeMora, who spent many years giving me loving care and special devotion. I loved her like a daughter.
My grandson, Terry Rush (Jennifer) and great granddaughter Haley of Alabama.
A special thank you to Eddie Monismith for your loyalty and dedication to me for many years.
And then Annie, my precious cat. Annie was brought to me a as little sick baby kitten and after 17 years of living inseparable, we are departing together and will start our new journey together.
At my request there will be no service and burial will be private. Enjoy life – Have a party!
