Betty Lou Caldwell (Pierce) 60, was born on January 12, 1954, in Crawford, Neb. She was the daughter of Milford and Alice Pierce. Sister of Howard, Harold, Melvin, Gene, Terry, David, Jerry, Charlotte, Linda, Sherry (deceased), Marilyn, Jackie and Wanda (deceased). Wife of Todd Caldwell for nearly 28 years. Encouraging Momma to Jeremy (deceased), Janine (Frank), Trina (Reid), Christopher, Sharon (Jimmy), Michelle, Amber (Stephen). Over the Top Spoiling MumMum to Ashley, Barbara, Samantha, Jeremy, Haley, Jordan, Jaiden, Makayla, Alexandra, Lucas, Leia, Maddison, Warren and Natalie. Her home was not complete without a grandchild running about, be it for the holidays or just a fun weekend at MumMums, her time spent with any of the grandchildren was cherished beyond their hyper smile as they were returned to their parents. Her kindness and compassion extended beyond her children and grandchildren, she was a mom and a friend to all who came through the door of her home, and she was also an Advocate for Foster and Abused Children. October 7, 2014 Betty suddenly passed away, she touched many lives and will forever be missed. In Lieu of Flowers the family asks for donations to go to Operation Homefront. This organization was chosen due to the broad services that they are able to provide the Military member and their families. Donations can be sent to the address provided. Services will be 1 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014 at Torbert Funeral Chapel located at 1145 Lebanon Rd., Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will begin 2 p.m., Odd Fellows Cemetery at 35 Rising Sun Rd, Camden Wyoming, DE 19934.
