Bette Joan Hobbs

DOVER - Bette Joan Hobbs passed away Thursday ,April 7, 2016 at Kent General Hospital. Mrs. Hobbs was born Oct. 1, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pa. to Edward Judge and Maria E. Davidson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing cards, bingo, watching TV, and cheering for her favorite NASCAR driver, Jimmy Johnson. Mrs. Hobbs was a very loving and kind-hearted person and had a special place in her heart for cats. Mrs. Hobbs is survived by her daughter, Diane Kemp and her husband Jeffrey, of Hartly; and son, Gary Navone and his wife Sandra, of Millville, N.J.; seven grandchildren; and six great -grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 12 noon, Monday, April 11, 2016 at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the First State Animal Center and SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE., 19934.
