HOUSTON - Bessie P. Gonzalez, 84, of Houston, passed away at home on December 1, 2014. Bessie was the daughter of the late Walter and Ada Passwaters. Mrs. Gonzalez worked for 40 years with Playtex as a Shipping Clerk. She enjoyed crocheting and watching western movies. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded by a son, Phillip "Butch" Elliott. Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by her husband, Robert L. Gonzalez; a son, William Elliott; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 7 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2014 in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front Street, Milford, where friends may call at 6 p.m.
