Bertha Mae (Still) Minor, 100
DOVER - Bertha Mae (Still) Minor, of Courtland Manor Home, Dover, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, in Dover, surrounded by her loving family. She was 100.
Bertha was born April 10, 1907, in Dover, where she lived almost her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Herbert A. and Annie (Honey) Still.
She was a loving wife and mother.
Bertha worked at the Richardsons and Robinsons Building in Dover, and also at the Dover Laundry.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Steve; a son, Stephen; a sister, Edna Traut; a half-brother, Bobby Hart; and a very special nephew, John Traut, whom she raised as a son.
Bertha is survived by two sons, Rudolph and his wife Rebecca of Dover, and Herbert and his wife Nancy of Wyoming; a daughter, Vera Jackimek of Dover; a sister, Mildred Nichols of Wilmington; four grandsons, Wayne Minor and his wife Carol of Wyoming, Jeff Minor and his wife Alice of Milford, Bob Brown and his wife Pam of Dover, and Steven Sorney and his wife Amy of Richmond, Va.; three granddaughters, Brenda Tarburton and her husband John of Seaford, Karen Minor of Fort Mill, S.C., and Teresa Price of Dover; four great-grandsons, Bobby Brown of Dover, Corey Price of Dover, Gary Price of Dover, and Matthew Sorney of Richmond; seven great-granddaughters, Stephanie Tarburton of Newark, Samantha Winchell of Seaford, Leigh Nagy and her husband Scott of Boca Raton, Fla., Jody Minor of Milford, Laura Brittingham and her husband Jon of Frankford, Leslie Minor of Dover, and Shannon Kerrick of Dover; three great-great-granddaughters, Savannah Nagy of Boca Raton, Rebeka Kerrick of Dover, and Shawna Kerrick of Dover; and one great-great-grandson, Nathan Nagy of Boca Raton.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour before services.
