KOKOMO, Ind. - Bertha Elizabeth Enlow of Kokomo, formerly of Milton, Del., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at her son's home in Milton, Del. She was 69. For the last 25 years, she had lived in Kokomo. She was the daughter of the late Roscoe C. and Dessie E. (Clifton) Carey. She was a homemaker and enjoyed doing crafts, gardening and decorating. She enjoyed traveling and always had a smile on her face. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Clarence Wilhelm; and her 2nd husband, Walter "Murlyn" Enlow. She is survived by her children, Keith A. Wilhelm and his wife Lisa of Milton, Del., and Brenda R. Piraino and her husband Frank of Topeka, Kan.; three stepchildren, Phillip Enlow and his wife Loretta of Indiana, Margaret Pickett and her husband Les of Indiana, and Walter Enlow and his wife Karen of Kentucky; and 16 grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, Del., where fiends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica, Del. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 or the Gideon's International, P.O. Box 622, Dover, DE 19903.
