Benjamin Francis Coombe III

WOODBURY, N.J. - Benjamin Francis Coombe III, of Woodbury, N.J., passed away on Monday, April 16, 2012 at home. He was 45. Benjamin was born in Philadelphia, the son of Benjamin F., Jr. and Joanne (Di Antonio) Coombe of Lincoln, Del. He was a mechanic for U.P.S. for 25 years, starting in 1989. He was a member of the Glouster County Community Church in Sewell, N.J., and also worked with the Youth minister. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, classic cars and was a NASCAR fan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Caleb Coombe of Delran, N.J.; sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Denny Rayne of Milford, Del.; one nephew, Stephen Rayne of Millsboro, Del.; and a close friend, John Jones of Williamstown, N.J. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2012, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Interment will be in Slaughter Neck Cemetery, Milford. Flowers accepted or contributions may be made to: Trust Fund, Caleb Coombe, Edward Jones, 1577 Nassau Commons Blvd, Suite 101, Lewes, DE 19958.
