Benigna Bertha Fuentes

Benigna Bertha Fuentes, 99 HARTLY - Benigna Bertha Fuentes, 99, of Hartly, died May 10, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Fuentes was born in Bolivia and was the daughter of the late Felix and Rosaura Pommier Garnica. She had been a member of Holy Cross Church and was fond of poetry, flowers, and cooking. In her quieter moments she cherished the time spent with her family. Mrs. Fuentes was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roberto Fuentes in 2004. She is survived by three loving children, Mario Fuentes and wife Teresa of Long Island, N.Y., N. Virginia F. de Tuma and husband Dr. Jose Tuma-Aid of Hartly, and Norka Gutierrez and husband Gunther of Bolivia; along with six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory may be sent to Delaware Hospice, 911 South DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901. Arrangements are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc. Condolences may be forwarded and Guest Book signed via www.ambruso.com.
