Beatrice V. Adams, 89

MILFORD - Beatrice V. Adams of Milford died Tuesday, May 22, 2007, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital, after a short illness. She was 89.

Mrs. Adams was born in Philadelphia on Nov. 1, 1917.

She was a homemaker for many years. She also enjoyed helping her son, James, in his concrete business by answering the telephone.

For the last 13 years, Mrs. Adams lived at the Milford Center. She enjoyed bingo, doing ceramics and church. She was always there to help elderly neighbors when they were sick, and enjoyed raising and caring for her hunting dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her husband, James Frederick Adams, in 1982.

She is survived by a son, James B. Adams and his wife Brenda of Milford; a step-grandson, Tim Lord and his wife Laura; two daughters, Patsy Carey and her husband Keith and Dorothy Warrington and her husband Rodney, all of Milford; and two brothers, Charles Millman of Milford, and Albert Millman of Ellendale.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Ave., Milford, where friends may call after 12 p.m. Burial will be in the Milford Community Cemetery.
