MILFORD - Beatrice Coverdale passed away at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013. She attended the Pilgrim Wesleyan Church and was faithful to her heavenly Father. Mrs. Coverdale worked 45 years at the L.D. Caulk Company in Inventory Control. Her husband Harvey, and son, Harvey, Jr. preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Lorraine Slaughter and her husband, Leon of Milford; four grandchildren, Donald L. Slaughter, Robert L. Slaughter, John Coverdale, and Connie DeYoung; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, 2013, with a viewing one hour prior to the service in the Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Lincoln Cornerstone Church, c/o Mrs. Ellis Geise, 7 Clarke Ave, Milford, DE, 19963.
