Barbara Wilson–Jackson

MILFORD - Barbara Wilson–Jackson passed away peacefully at home on Aug. 13, 2018. Barbara was born in Milford to Richard and Dorothy Wilson. She attended Milford High School, Goldey Beacom College and worked in the family business, Wilson Beverage. She was predeceased by her husband, James.
She is survived by her son, David Ryan; brother, Richard Wilson (Charmaine); grandchildren, Devan Carpenter (Nathan), Joshua Ryan (Holli); great-grandchildren, Kash, Kain and Khloe Ryan; and stepdaughters, Susan Jackson and Carol Jackson. For those who knew of Barbara's love of German Shepherds, she is also survived by her dog, Vera.
The family wishes to thank Aquila Harris, Dorothea Willis, Karen Gibbs, Joyce Mears, Jeanne Lawson, Susan Swain and Vitas Hospice for all their hard work and devotion to Barbara.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 20, 2018 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where a visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggestions donations to any of the following: Sussex County Animal Association, First State Animal Center and SPCA or an Alzheimer's charity of your choice.
