SMYRNA - Barbara Sue Taylor, of Smyrna, (June 6, 1955 - February 5, 2011) died peacefully in her home. She was 55. She left behind her parents, Walter C. and Betty J. Ireland of Smyrna; her father, John T. Pearce Sr. of Florida; four loving sons, James E. Taylor Jr. of Florida, George W. Taylor, with whom she lived, Chuck E. Taylor and wife Norma of Smyrna, and John P. Taylor and wife Nicole of Florida; five loving grandchildren, Daniel A. Brewer, Justin Taylor, Chuck E. Taylor Jr., Delilah A. Taylor, and Melanie P. Taylor; and five siblings, Sandra Lloyd of Smyrna, Kathy G. Jones of Townsend, John T. Pearce Jr. of Smyrna, Gary L. Pearce of Georgia, and Lisa F. McCain of Smyrna. Barb worked at the family business, The Dairy Sweet, alongside her family, including her Aunt Kate and sister-in-law, Pam. If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, we'd walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again. Services and interment will be private.
