Barbara Louise Robinson, 83
MILFORD - Barbara Louise Robinson, of Milford, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, in Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md. She was 83.
Barbara was born Jan. 17, 1925, in Milford, the daughter of the late Valvert L. and Addie Mae (Brownlow) Fox.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Avenue United Methodist Church, Milford, the Margaret C. Pyle Lodge, she was a Rebecca officer and past noble grand and a member of the Milford Senior Center and AARP.
Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George B. Robinson Jr., in 2001; four brothers, Alonson Fox, Emory Fox, Lyman Fox and Lou Fox; and four sisters, Sara Callaway, Grace Fox, Mary Camper and Helen Donovan.
Barbara is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Jim Jester of Salisbury; two grandchildren, Shawn and Amy Jester of Salisbury; a sister, Mae Meehan of Wilmington; and several nieces and nephews and their families.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call at noon.
