MILFORD - Barbara L. Ford of Milford passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, in Milford Center. She was 75.
Mrs. Ford was born in Wilmington.
She was a loving wife and homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Walls.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, George R. Ford; three daughters, Sandy Vrhovac of Georgetown, and Lisa Collins and Georgianna Leisure, both of Milford; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Steve and Debbie Ford of Seaford, Glen and Sharon Ford of Round Rock, Texas, and Mark Ford of Milford; a sister, Phyllis Bevins of Florida; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Price of Wilmington and Rosalie Walls of Georgetown; and 18 grandchildren, Shawn Ford, Steve Ford Jr., Kelli Jo Johnson, Brooke Aizeman, Erik Ford, Jaquelinne Ford, Kimberly Mazur, John Vrhovac, Jason Vrhovac, Christina Vrhovac, Matt Ford, Holly Ford, Travis Collison, Taylor Collison, Madison Collins, Amanda Stephans, Brittany Hastings and William Hastings.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N. W. Front St., Milford, where friends may call one hour earlier. Chaplain Gary Messick will officiate.
Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the funeral home to help defray costs; or to American Legion Post 3, Milford; or to the Milford Center.
